A superb Victorian locket fob, it's a substantial spinner in luxurious 18k gold and glossy agate. One side of the round locket is set with slatey-blue agate, the other with a fiery orange agate. Both agates are banded and cut so a wafer-thin layer of paler stone veils the agates' saturated hue. The agates are set in sleek gold frames hinged to open and reveal a shallow inner compartment. The locket spins in a gorgeous scrolled frame with a diamond-shaped bale. Beautifully constructed and perfect for fidgeting, the fob feels great in the hand. An added jump ring makes this piece easy to wear; it will look fabulous on one of our Ancient Influences married chains. Circa 1870.

Details.....The locket fob measures 1.06" by 1.38". In Very Good Antique Condition. Imperfections are to be expected in antique jewelry; it is considered a part of its charm.
