A Grand Period locket fob featuring an agate intaglio of a soldier wearing a very handsome moustachio. The carved agate sits on one side of the round locket while the other holds a carmine-spattered green bloodstone. The stones are set in 14k gold frames hinged at the bottom to open and reveal an inner compartment. The locket's frames are engraved with an elegant beaded pattern. It sits in a very Victorian frame: a round bar curves over the top, embellished with gold bands and rounded ends. A jump ring has been added to the bale, making this piece easy to wear; try it on one of our Ancient Influences married chains. Circa 1880.

Details.....The locket fob measures .99" by 1.21". In Very Good Antique Condition. Imperfections are to be expected in antique jewelry; it is considered a part of its charm.
